We have really enjoyed living here and plan to continue. The apartments really look a lot better now that they've been cleaned and painted. We also appreciate adding some picnic patios and grills on the property. It looks nice and provides a nice service. The property is generally quiet and peaceful. Sometimes you can hear things going on in other apartments, but it's not bad. The worst is when one of my back neighbors play loud music and all I can hear is the bass beating off the walls in my office. Again, that's not frequent so it's not a big issue. I haven't been in any better apartments (as far as noise is concerned). They all have some issues with noise from your neighbors, but this community is very peaceful overall and we enjoy it. The staff here are also kind and helpful when we have questions. I appreciate their work.

The apartment complex is located at the end of a street so there is no through traffic. This keeps it quiet and, I feel, safer. I enjoy living here, they offer many activities such as Saturday morning breakfasts, pot luck get togethers, game night and bingo. it is well maintained and any problems are taken care of in a timely manner.

We have really enjoyed the couple months we have been here for my job. We were hoping to find some place with a “home-y” feel. The property is secluded and quiet, and the apartment itself is well-built and spacious. The covered parking is a bonus! Nice office staff as well! Great place to call home!

I stumbled upon Lakeside Village, and knew instantly this was home! The property is nestled at the end of a residential neighborhood. Covered parking is around the perimeter for maximum green space at the center of the property consisting of lush, green grass, walkways, mature trees and a duck pond! The beautifully appointed office is adjacent to the pool and hot tub area, with the friendliest office staff you could hope for! We were looking for great neighbors in a clean, comfortable, quiet community, and found it here!

The office staff here is cheerful and helpful to the residents. The maintenance man is a hard worker, always with a cheerful demeanor. The grounds are kept nicely. And my neighbors are quiet and most of them are kind. If the rents weren't going up so much. and I were remaining in the area, I'd want to continue to live here.

I have lived at Lakeside Village apartments for over 3 years. Today I again attended one of their "potluck" dinners. Most of the meal was from residents. Very good food! The sliced ham, rolls, butter, and drinks (bottled water, bottled lemonade and soft drinks) were supplied by the management. Along with paper plates, plastic utensils, napkins, etc. The residents brought plenty of good quality food. And we all enjoyed good conversations with each other. When the meal was over, the managers put away various items, and were sweeping and mopping before closing time. As I left in my power wheelchair (another woman was also in a power wheelchair) the place was almost clean again and ready for tomorrow's brunch. .( Each Saturday morning provided by the management.) Because of medical issues I do not get out to activities often. But when I do, I really enjoy them! And everyone I meet says the same! IF you are over 55, this is a great place to live.

Brianna and Dawn are AWESOME ....They help with any situation you have and always do it with a positive attitude. We have lived here for a year and it truly has been great. The Office Staff at Lakeside Village (1580 W 3940 S, SLC, UT), are phenomenal and service oriented and the folks who continuously work hard to maintain the beautiful landscape surrounding the units are very nice and courteous. Thought I could get through until Monday but the temp dropped too low. I couldn't handle it so I gave in and called the after hours number on Sunday. Howard answered quickly (versus NO answer with previous "maintenance"), said that he would be right out. He was, with a smile and a great attitude, as all employees working with the public should be! He lit the pilot light, stayed a bit to make sure it was working and left with a gracious manner. Thank you Howard and THANK YOU FOR KEEPING THE POOL CLEAN AND WARM!! That's the way we old folks like it! Kudos to you! Keep up the great work! And thank you again!

I've lived in many different apartment complexes over the years, but Lakeside Village is hands down THE best! The common areas are very well maintained and any maintenance items are taken care of immediately. The office staff is so sweet and always has freshly baked cookies in the office. As for the apartments themselves, they're updated and kept in great condition. Everything looked new when I moved in. Oh, one of the best things is that other tenants are so nice! Everyone says hi and waves. I love it. I don't ever want to move again!

This Retirement Complex in no way gas gone downhill. It only improves each and every day. If you are looking for a peaceful place to live look no further. The Management here are so very kind caring and extremely professional. The grounds are very well maintained. If ever you have a problem at your unit just call the office and it will be handled promptly.Great residents here are a direct result because of Jennifer,Amber,&Bill & his maintenance staff. So I say thank you guys for being nothing less than the absolute Best. 5* complex.

5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐or more! for Brianna, Dawn, Norm (and Howard). They are all conscientious "landlords" and very considerate when it comes to accommodating the "oldish" generation tenants. Lakeside has been a lovely place to live for almost 10 years. It is quiet, safe and serene, the grounds are well kept, the community garden is fruitful and all are welcome and mindful to share. Renovations and new community activities are a bonus! **And ty for keeping the pool clean (and WARM!!)... that's the way we old(er) folks like it! Kudos to all of you! Keep up the great work!

Update 2022, they are doing MUCH better. A change in management has occurred and they are very helpful. I really appreciate all of the office and maintenance staff they have now. From 2017: We specifically picked out this place for my mom because of the duck pond and the pool. Before management changed it was great. Now she just received a notice that "no one under 25 is allowed in the pool after 6pm". There are 18 year olds that rent here and people with children. If they don't comply with this rule they are fined $75!!! AND the pond was so filthy that my mother became sick because of her compromised immune system. I am SO DISAPPOINTED at how downhill this place has gone. Do not rent here. The staff has become rude and uncaring and the mainance does not do their job...and they use the word "funnest" on their flyer. That's not a word.
